Endowed with an open ear to the creative voice within, Gideon has been painting and sculpting for almost seven decades. Beginning in the first half of the twentieth century and spanning through the present, Gideon  has been producing a legacy of fine art in a mind boggling array of styles and media surpassed by no other on this Earth.

"I believe that art is an inspiring language that can lift man's soul to great heights. Art is a strange and universal bond that links the cultures and souls of man together. Art is an ascending journey, a journey from eyes closed to the creative beauties which are man's to explore and enjoy,  to open eyes of communication and awareness of life's aesthetic energy. This journey is indeed an ascending one; for once eyes and hearts and minds have been open, the path ahead is one of continual growth. This has been my direction and still is." - Gideon

This valuable legacy of over 2000  preserved masterworks of art by artist/sculptor Gideon expands his lifetime from age five. Although he has sold thousands of his artworks through the years, he has been able to maintain works from the time he was 5 years old throughout every phase of his life with examples of all his different styles and records of his developments. This remarkable collection includes drawings, sketches, charcoals, watercolors, oil paintings, carvings and sculptures in an amazing variety of styles and subject matter.

Holocaust: The Death Camps

In a very special collection known around the world as the Holocaust Collection, Gideon expresses his memories from one of the largest atrocities in human history.  From his many sketches and memories of POWs, holocaust victims, soldiers and battered people of World War II, Gideon made magnificent works of art, all serving as a priceless piece of history. These are some of Gideon's most valued possessions, for they are his savored memories of the most terrible war in history and stand to hold the memories of the millions who suffered.

Gideon's paintings range from small 4" tiles all the way up to 8' canvases with large hand-sculptured frames by Gideon. His sculptures range from small 6" studies to life-size pieces weighing up to 3500 pounds. Gideon has developed several composition materials to use in his works; Gideon makes all of his own paint and sculpting materials. Over the past seven decades he has developed a wide variety of materials to accommodate his varied styles of painting and sculpting, most of which are great secrets to the industry.

This collection is large enough to fill a fine museum featuring The Life of One Man in the Arts.  Not only would the public have the pleasure of seeing some of the world's finest art works, but the educational aspects are very important. Gideon would allow the actual duplication of his gallery and studios showing what the life of a serious artist really is. Children, schools and universities and working artists would benefit from the decades of Gideon's research, techniques and discoveries in art. Whether for a company or an individual, the rare opportunity to be involved with or to own this most unique, one-of-a-kind art collection is a consideration worth seizing and exploring.

Throughout the age culturally conscious countries have strived to protect and preserve their artistic and historical treasures. Not only the works of great men and women have been proclaimed national treasures, but their creators have been bestowed this title. Nations all over the world build museums in honor and to house these important artistic achievements. Monuments are built in their names, their homes, studios and other properties are restored and preserved for viewing, study and delight of the masses.

Culturally aware nations and individuals realize the importance of preserving historical, cultural and artistic heritage for the future generations. We and our children need a firm foundation in the knowledge of the past to improve our present and secure the growth and progress of the future. Without the inspiration and example of our national treasures our insight into beauty and strength of character are greatly lacking.

Gideon is such a man; an artist, a sculptor, an innovator. There has never been and may never be again one such as Gideon. If history is kind the proper eyes and hearts will be opened to the necessity of preserving this important collection of precious works. Gideon is an institution in himself; not only a national treasure but an international treasure. Gideon has made his mark in history, a mark of excellence. Now it is time that history recognizes, honors and presents to its people the work and legacy of Gideon.
